To end our unit in French on Healthy / Unhealthy Living, students in Mme Sylvie’s class researched seven medical solutions to common illnesses, both pharmaceutical and natural. In order to maximize their oral practice, they needed to record their recommendations and embed their recordings into their CANVA presentations. Most spent much time animating their slides to create special effects. Take a look at their amazing work below.

At the end of a unit on Food and Eating Out, students in Mme Sylvie’s class were asked to create their own food truck and include details such as a simple menu, a catchy business name in French, placing their truck in a French speaking city and designing a business card to attract new customers. In addition, they had to include a short video on the history of the food truck, fill in a self-evaluation and deliver their presentation by using the sentences they had prepared and memorized ahead of their oral presentations to help them speak in French as opposed to just reading their slides. Below are some examples of projects created electronically with CANVA and created artistically by hand.
